Business Development Manager / Commercial Sales Position
Silverstreet is always looking for candidates to help grow and strengthen its international business development team. Whether you are new to SMS or a seasoned veteran of the industry, we will be eager to review your credentials and see if we can find a mutually beneficial mechanism to move forward together.
Description of Position:
- To acquire and maintain new business for Silverstreet
- To prepare and maintain a prospect list to be shared and mutually monitored with management team
- To focus on high margin / high volume customer groups
- To manage existing accounts assigned by Silverstreet
- The research and development of new commercial concepts
- Sales and marketing activities in your home market and surrounding region
- Liaise closely with the global sales team
Requirements:
- Must be able to work remotely / independently while keeping oneself focused
- Must be willing to liaise internally primarily via IM / Email / Phone
- Must be willing to travel to global offices when needed by the company
- Must have strong English reading, verbal and written skills
- Previous experience within the SMS industry is highly beneficial but not an absolute requirement
- A command for other languages in addition to English is highly beneficial but not an absolute requirement
- Due to the nature of the SMS / Mobile industry, the candidate must be open to non-traditional working hours based on the needs of the clients
