Senior Customer Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide daily Mobile Telecom Operations Support from our Asian HQ in Kuala Lumpur.
• Handle NOC monitoring in a 24×7 Operations environment to ensure full system and network functionality.
• Be the Technical Support liaison between the Operations team and the Customers using remote control software or phone.
• To provide professional technical documentation, system analysis, and financial reports.
• To be responsible for new system implementations, maintenance and support.
• To work and report on designated projects, individually and in cross company project groups.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Several fulltime positions are available.
• Willing to work shifts.
• Experience in Networking, Windows, and Linux.
• Knowledge in MySQL and SQL scripting.
• Proven professional knowledge in MS Excel, Word, and Visio.
• Able to handle multitasking and deliver on time.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Required: Professional English fluency – spoken and written.
• Organised, reliable, and has a sense of urgency.
• Experience from TCP/IP, SMPP, HTTP, SSH, SS7, and other network protocols are considered an advantage.
