100% in-house developed
The Silverstreet messaging platform is entirely built in-house, using a full UNIX foundation and 100% open source software. It is built from the ground up to be scalable, fully redundant and feature rich.
World class hosting locations
Our core messaging platform servers are hosted in a modern, state of the art datacenter in Amsterdam, with a redundant 10 Gbit/sec uplink to the AMS-IX – the second largest Internet exchange in the world. Due to excellent transit peerings, fast and reliable worldwide connectivity is guaranteed.
We have back up nodes available in state of the art datacenter in Singapore (Verizon), Sydney (Telstra and Verizon) and Kuala Lumpur (Shah Alam).
Redundancy and load balancing
All incoming requests are load balanced through a dual load balancer setup using the Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP). An arbitrary number of messaging servers will accept, analyze and route incoming traffic to our satellite mobile operator platforms, SMS hubbing partners and other tier 1 indirect connections.
Multiple protocol support
Our messaging servers have full protocol support for SMPP 3.3 / 3.4 and HTTP connectivity for MT and HLR requests. Multiple, concurrent binds and windowing is supported to significantly enhance the speed on long haul connections. Our outbound connectors (Supplier Connections) support SMPP 3.3 / 3.4, UCP, CIMD2 and SS7.
Our proprietary, Silverstreet managed, SMSC satellite platforms located at various mobile operators allow us global SS7 connectivity.
The routing engine allows for multi layered routing profiles per account and boasts a number of features, including operator quota management, Mobile Number Portability (MNP) routing and advanced spam filtering.
Billing features include multiple accounts, credit sharing and multiple currency support. Our platform also supports real time, prepaid and postpaid billing.
All CDR logs are transferred in real-time to our reporting platform, which allows us to do comprehensive checks on QoS (delay monitoring, delivery percentage, message volumes). It also enables real-time and scheduled reporting on (aggregated) data and individual messages.
